New Delhi:South Africa has separated 260,000 flying creatures so far to contain a H5N8 winged animal influenza flare-up, Agriculture Minister Senzeni Zokwana told a news instructions on Thursday.

South Africa has affirmed episodes of avian influenza, which is regularly transmitted by wild feathered creatures, on no less than two ranches. Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana suspended poultry imports from South Africa this week after the flare-up.
