WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump decried the compound assault in Syria as an “attack against humankind” Wednesday, proclaiming that it crossed “numerous, many lines” and can’t go on without serious consequences. Be that as it may, he distinctly declined to state what activity the U.S. might take accordingly.

Trump, confronting one of his first major worldwide emergencies, faulted the assault unequivocally for Syrian President Bashar Assad. Just days prior Trump’s organization had said Assad’s ouster was no longer a U.S. need, yet he said the assault that executed 72 individuals had moved his perspectives.

“That assault on kids yesterday bigly affected me. Enormous effect,” Trump said in the White House Rose Garden. “My mentality towards Syria and Assad has changed in particular.”

Still, Trump was resolute that he would not broadcast any potential U.S. military striking back, even as his U.N. envoy, Nikki Haley, was promising a solid and maybe even one-sided American reaction. Trump said uncovering military activity early was a mix-up the Obama organization had over and again made.

“I’m not saying I’m doing anything somehow, yet I’m positively not going to let you know,” Trump said.
