New Delhi: No-laces carrier SpiceJet on Tuesday declared arrangements to buy 50 Q400 turboprop flying machine worth $1.7 billion (over Rs. 10,900 crore) from Bombardier, a day in the wake of marking an agreement for purchasing 40 Boeing 737 MAX planes.

SpiceJet, which has drawn up eager extension arranges, has marked a letter of goal with Bombardier Commercial Aircraft to purchase up to 50 Q400 turboprop airplane.

The letter of expectation is for 25 Q400 turboprops and buy rights for an extra 25 airplane. These are 86-seater planes.

“In view of the Q400 turboprop list value, the request could be esteemed at up to $1.7 billion. This would be the single greatest request for the Q400,” SpiceJet said in a discharge.
